“ We brought our daughter here because we knew she would enjoy the 'cook your own food' experience. It is similar to a Korean hot pot restaurant. We came for the Devour Indy deal which was a pretty good value. Although I have been here before, I didn't realize that they even have a kid's menu which is nice (for such a fancy place). ”
“ My husband and I have been going to the Melting Pot for our anniversary since we were 19 (now 33). We have never been disappointed and the food is always so fresh and flavorful. We love the experience the Melting Pot gives us. The big night out (4 course) is our favorite. We have always order the spinach artichoke cheese (so so good), the house salad with ranch ,the meats, and the original chocolate fondue. Also, ask for a side of Cajun seasoning and dip your meat in it if you like a little spice...to die for! We cannot wait to go back for our next anniversary. Our server, Anthony, was WONDERFUL. He was so attentive, personable, and funny. We loved having him. ”
“ Ethan was great making suggestions and helping us on our first time here. The Meal of Two was great. Food was delicious. I would give this a try for a date, to rekindle your romance and drinks. ”
“ Sarah was a fantastic server! Food was 10/10. Very good! Cute building, not too loud. Manager Rob stopped by to check on us too. ”
“ The Melting Pot has been hosting Indianapolis date nights and anniversaries for longer than I can remember. I hadn't been since 2013, and wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, we had a good time. Fondue is not an efficient way to cook and eat food. You go here for the experience. It's a little run down feeling. But not so bad that it t distracts. The staff were friendly and checked in on us a good amount. The menu can be a little intimidating, but they talked us through it. I don't know that I'll be back anytime too soon because, again, fondue is very inefficient. But it's worth a try if you need a date night idea. ”
“ Let's get this out of the way, my only complaint, if any, was the price. But, I've paid more and been more disappointed so can't complain too much. Server was 10 out of 10 fantastic. Food, every section, was phenomenal. The meat broth, we literally wanted to sneak it out in a baggy. I loved the watching the food cook in front of us, plus we got to play chef. (Thanks to our great directions from our waiter) If you got the dough, give it a go. ”
“ I wish I could give this place 100 stars ! My partner and I went in for the first time on my birthday. The host was amazing, the servers were fantastic, and the assistant manager came out to talk to us and was great ! The 4-course price is perfect for the amount of food you get. They make the cheese fondue at your table and they also make the broth while you watch. It was a lot of fun ! I hope we get to go back again soon. ”
“ Somehow I've made it to the ripe old age of 36 without ever having been to a Melting Pot restaurant. My brother wanted to do something different for his birthday and mentioned this place. Can you go wrong with cheese, bread, and chocolate? I thought they'd just bring the food out to your table, but they actually prepared the cheese fondue table side. Our server, Baxter, was super friendly and made recommendations throughout. As an introvert, I hated the prolonged interaction, but I could appreciate the show that went into it. I was surprised to see that they offer entrees. I was just there for the molten cheese and chocolate, but if meats and seafood cooked in flavorful broths is your thing, they have plenty of options to choose from. I thought the cheese was good, but the chocolate and dessert bites were even better. The little Belgian waffles were my favorite bite overall. You don't even need to dip it, it's just so good on its own. We chose the turtle fondue option, which actually becomes a flaming turtle that they light on fire table side. The building and decor itself seemed on the older side (but really isn't the concept of fondue anyway), but it was clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly too. It definitely gives off date-night vibes, especially given that everything is traditionally priced for two people. But they have larger tables for groups or families too that have space for two fondue pots. All in all, my brother really enjoyed it and I can imagine this would be a good experience for anyone who wants to celebrate something special. ”
